Studio dance Russian photographer, Alexander Yakovlev makes his photographs come alive by adding dynamic elements using flour & right timing of shutter speed.

The Russian grad from the faculty of law at the Russian state university for the Humanities, it's clear from his work here that rhetoric isn't his only specialty.

Yakovlev's photos span a wide spectrum of dynamic dance styles, from ballet to breakdancing, but his flour filled photo (shown below) has garnered the most attention.

Usually shots are taken full body to showcase the moves and emphasis on body movement.
This photo is aided by lighting boxes, knowing the angles of the shoot and knowing the composition of how she stands.
